Firmographics

Firmographics are descriptive attributes of firms that can be used to aggregate individual firms into meaningful market segments. They describe businesses, non-profits, and governmental entities. Essentially, firmographics are to businesses and organizations what demographics are to people.

What is Firmographic data?

Firmographic data is types of information that can be used to categorize organizations, such as geographic area, number of clients, type of organization, industry, technologies used and so on.

What is psychographic segmentation in marketing?

Psychographic segmentation involves dividing your market into segments based upon different personality traits, values, attitudes, interests, and lifestyles of consumers. This segmentation is advantageous because it allows you to engage in product design and marketing in a focused manner.
